As you desire to become a leader, what will separate you from
leaders around you? What would be your legacy as a leader?
The greatest leader of all time took the time to teach his
followers about leadership; understanding the purpose of a leader.
A leader that will make the greatest positive impact is one who
serves those he has been called to lead. You may be called to lead your family,
a community group, a team, an organisation. The purpose is for you to serve
them – do for them what will add value to their lives.
When you serve you become outstanding from the general, you
leave a legacy that continues after your time on this earth is complete.
Learn from the Master who said; “You know that those who are
considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones
exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever
desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you
desires to be first shall be slave of all.” (Mark 10:42-45).
My challenge for you this month of October is to determine to
serve others.
