Leadership Nuggets

"But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave." Jesus Christ (Matthew 20:26, 27 NLT)

The power of a God-given Imagination

Amazon is dreaming and planning autonomous delivery through its prime air service, which aims to get packages to customers in 30 minutes or less. At the moment, the company has successfully ‘drone delivered’ chicken sandwich, hot coffee, some donuts and a slurpee to a place of residence in Nevada, U.S.

Amazon and other tech companies such as google, uber, airbnb and others are making a difference and profiting maximally at the same time because they dared to imagine and they continue to imagine seemingly impossible things.

Now think about what we will achieve spiritually and physically if we use our God-given imagination.  For example, we can consider the problems or challenges in our community then imagine a solution bearing in mind that our God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above what we imagine.

And we can achieve what we imagine as long as it is not against the will of God. Remember the people of old that wanted to build a tower to reach to heaven. They imagined it, they started it but they couldn’t achieve it because their imagination was not God-given. Think big this week. It is possible!
“Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” ~  Albert Einstein

Dear young leader, your challenge for the month of August is to look around your immediate world, pick a problem and start dreaming the solution. You never know, it could be the start of discovering your purpose.
